Stonewood Secrets: How To Store Your Leftovers

One of the incredible things about our Stonewood Grill menu is that our delicious meals are almost just as delicious the next day, too! Whether your eyes were too big for your stomach or you just wanted some of the best steak in Daytona Beach to go, how you store your Stonewood leftovers can help to ensure that fresh flavor sticks around. No matter which yummy meal you choose off of our menu, we’re sharing our secrets and revealing the best way to store your leftover – just read on to learn more!

Chicken

Chicken can typically save for about 3 to 4 days when stored properly. Make sure to wrap your chicken tightly, place your leftover chicken in an airtight container, and allow the chicken to cool completely before storing it in the refrigerator.

Steak

It’s probably not often that you don’t consume every last bite of your oak-grilled, hand-cut steak from Stonewood, but on that rare occasion when you find yourself with leftovers, the best way to store them is to make sure you’re keeping as much of the natural juices stored with it. If available, use a vacuum sealer to keep as much of those delicious juices in and all of that air out. Store flat on a bottom shelf of your refrigerator and enjoy for up to 3 days!

Bread

Our bruschetta is a fan favorite, and if you’re interested in taking some home, here’s what you need to know about making it last as long as possible. First and foremost, make sure to store your bread in paper, not plastic. Next, remember that bread boxes are your friends, but if you don’t have a bread box to store your leftover bread, opt for a cool, dry area of your kitchen like a cabinet or deep drawer.

Seafood

Cooked seafood can last for about 3-4 days when stored properly. And storing your leftover market-fresh fish looks like allowing it to cool fully before wrapping it tightly in plastic wrap, storing it in a container similar in size to its food contents, and placing it on the bottom shelf of your refrigerator.

Who says you can’t enjoy Dayton Beach’s best steakhouse every day of the week? Well, if you can’t stop by one of our 8 locations for a fresh, delicious meal, get some Stonewood to go and store it for tomorrow! Plus, with our curbside delivery options, your opportunities to enjoy your favorite steakhouse in Daytona Beach are vast.
