CARAMEL SAUCE INGREDIENTS:

4 Tbsp. Hershey’s Caramel Topping
1 tsp. Orange juice
1 tsp. Cointreau
1/4 tsp. Crème de Banana liqueur

PECAN BANANA FOSTERS INGREDIENTS:

1 each Pecan pie piece
1 each Banana
1/4 cup Caramel sauce
1 scoop Vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup. Whipped cream
1 each Mint sprig

Preparation

CARAMEL SAUCE DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and whisk together until incorporated into the caramel sauce.
  2. Set aside until service.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Use the center of the pecan pie and cut a 3”x3” square out of it.
  2. Cut the square on a diagonal and place the two tips pointed together in a bowl.
  3. Cut the banana into ¼ inch coin size slices and place in a microwave safe bowl.
  4. Add 1/8 cup (2 oz.) of caramel sauce and microwave for approximately 45 seconds or until heated throughout depending upon the power of the microwave. Set aside.
  5. Take the bowl with the pecan pie squares and top with a scoop of ice cream.
  6. Spoon heated mixture atop the ice cream.
  7. Place a dollop of whipped cream on top of the ice cream.
  8. Place a mint sprig on top of the whipped cream.
  9. Serve & Enjoy!
